Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 July 2026

KnowledgeEX is an AI-enabled South–South Learning Exchange platform operated for the INTENT Platform. By accessing or using KnowledgeEX you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility and accounts

Access is limited to authorised users — government representatives, transit agencies, utilities, financiers, partners, and practitioners invited or approved by INTENT. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and must not be shared.

2. Permitted use

KnowledgeEX is provided for reference, capacity-building, and programme-design purposes. You may read, search, and download materials made available to your role, and use the AI Policy Copilot to explore the curated knowledge base. You may not scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute platform content, or use it to train machine-learning models, except as expressly permitted in writing by INTENT.

3. The AI Policy Copilot

Copilot answers are generated by a retrieval-augmented system grounded only in approved, curated source material, and every answer links back to its source documents. Despite these safeguards, answers are informational and may contain errors or omissions. They are not legal, financial, procurement, or engineering advice, and should be verified against the cited sources and qualified professionals before any decision or expenditure.

4. Confidential and proprietary content

Much of the knowledge base is confidential and provided under non-disclosure terms. Your use of it is additionally governed by the NDA Notice. You must not disclose confidential materials, or AI outputs derived from them, outside your authorised use.

5. Intellectual property

All reports, datasets, images, templates, and other content are owned by INTENT or its contributors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the platform; no ownership is transferred.

6. Prohibited conduct

Do not attempt to circumvent access controls or the platform’s content safeguards, probe or attack its infrastructure, upload unlawful or infringing material, or use the platform to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, INTENT and the platform operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or reliance on its content or AI outputs.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-platform. Questions about these Terms can be sent to the platform administrator via the contact channel provided by INTENT.
